An End of Summer Celebration
As reported in the Park Labrea News/Beverly Press (below), Kenny Tashman & Tashman Home Center spent Friday night, September 12th, hosting members of the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and friends of Tashman Home Center in an End Of Summer Celebration.

Tashman’s parking lot was closed and repaved, brightly colored umbrellas and adirondack chairs were grouped about the lot, there was an open bar, delicious tacos and DJ Bryan Chesters of Let’s Party LA kept the music pumping and the crowd dancing through out the evening.
Tashman Home Center has been a part of West Hollywood since 1961 and Kenny (the 3rd generation Tashman to run the business) wanted Tashman to become more involved with the community. With the store being located on Santa Monica Boulevard, in the heart of West Hollywood, he decided it was a no-brainer to help support the West Hollywood and Los Angeles gay and lesbian community. So Tashman Home Center joined the LAGLCC as a Gold Member.
Now being a member is one thing but getting involved is something else, and what better way to get involved and to get know one another than by spending an evening enjoying good food, good drinks and great music.
And, yes, it was a wonderful evening and, who knows, it may become a Tashman tradition.
